JOB DESCRIPTION: Looking for students between the ages of 17-21 who are looking to gain working experience. Must enjoy working with kids. Previous theatre experience a plus but not necessary, but should be interested and willing to learn. Interns will perform various tasks including but not limited to supervising children, helping with daily set-up and clean-up, assisting camp staff in teaching kids, and working on sets, props, and costumes.
THEATRE: Beijing Playhouse.
TIME COMMITMENT: Registration on June 8th at 2pm. Camp dates are June 30-July 11, Mondays-Fridays, plus Saturday, July 12th. Camp hours are 9am-4pm. Time commitment also includes semi-regular staff meetings in June.
LOCATION: Dulwich College of Beijing in Shunyi District. Transportation for 2-weeks camp will be arranged by bus that will leave from the city in the morning and return to the city in the afternoon.
PAY: Pay 500. Lunch during camp is provided.

ABOUT THE CAMP
During Beijing Playhouse's Theater Camp, campers will learn how to act, sing, dance and make props and costumes during the 2 week musical theatre camp. Camp runs Monday, June 30-Saturday, July 12th from 9am to 4pm (no camp Sat, Jul 5 & Sun, Jul 6). Each day, students will have acting, music, dance and prop/costume making classes in the morning followed by rehearsals and activities in the afternoon. The camp will culminate with a performance of “Alice in Wonderland” for family, friends and the community.
