UNIDO ITPO – China is currently offering the opportunity for two graduate students to assist in the EU – China Shanxi Region Partnership Program. The internship will be from:
August, 2008 until the end of October 2008 (3 months)
Job Description:
The intern will be located in Taiyuan, Shanxi, directly working in the project team of the local government counterpart, and reporting on a day-to-day basis to responsible project manager of the Taiyuan Municipal Economic Commission (TYMEC). The main responsibilities include:
Assisting the local project team in all activities related to project implementation
Coordinating with UNIDO ITPO - China and project partners in Europe
Responsible for Chinese to English translation of local company and project information, and proofreading of Chinese to English translation work
Ensuring European standards of quality in all project related activities and materials
Assisting local companies in the presentation of their cooperation intentions and project descriptions
Assisting local companies in matching with suitable European companies and supporting communication
Contributing to internal and external communications, particularly in drafting monthly and quarterly project progress updates to stakeholders including the steering committee and the EU
